Professor at the McGill University (Faculty of Law), Daniel is the chairman of the field Canadian Research Chair on Ethics and Political Philosophy. He was also the director of the Research Centre on Ethics at the University of Montreal for many years. Daniel’s research interests include, among others, the governance of certain types of liberal democracies. He explores the effects of religious and cultural diversity from an ethical perspective on the political and ethical philosophy of public policy.
